Yes, we do play in the city. We'll be doing an all ages matinee on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 3pm at Continental with Wakefield (members of Good Charlotte) and Reunion Show. Both of these bands are on Victory records. We're very excited about this show. You can get tix at Ticketmaster, thru us, or at the door the day of the show. Just saw The Nerve at The Temple (April 13th) Fucking awsome. Best band to ever play the temple, although that's not saying much because bands at the temple almost always suck. But still, The Nerve is now my favorite punk band formed after 1990. And that solo from war pigs was awsome!

As you know, I was thrilled to find The Nerve!, and I love your shit. It passed the big test - I love listening to the CDs you gave me at home too, so folks will be hearing you wherever I DJ in town. I have to say (and you better get this, GOD) - as much as I liked you as a band, and your music, when I read about how you "bedraggled thirtysomethings" played for the folks at the bin, I knew you were really special. Especially when I heard you didn't consider your art too precious to tamper with, that you were willing to alter your colume and lyrics (not like some others, who can only say "duh, I can only play with it on 10"). Hi, Randy here. In answer to the last 2 posts... Status Quo No Show are scheduled for shock treatment at the asylum on 1/31, hence they will not be playing the show. And we will be inviting Good Grief to play at a future show. We love 'em too! But there's a bunch of bands that weren't available for the x-mas show that we wanted to get for 1/31 (there's only so many bands you can fit on one show). Keep letting us know which bands you would like to see perform with us so we can keep putting together kick ass shows! As for why we don't play at L'Amour, go to our "fun" page and click on "When they ask you to Pay to Play", an entertaining and true article written by Joe. Randy Nerve

wtf happened yesterday at maguires? i went and some celtic band was playing instead...and they were actually pretty good and the bartender served me scotch even though im only 18. but still...i was kind of disappointed. was that just a mistake on the newz page or did something happen with the booking? im just wondering cuz you guys are a pretty awesome band in a sea of shit, and again, i was just kind of disappointed. well anyway, keep up the good work. hope to see you at a later date

I was deployed in Brooklyn last year on "Homeland Security" and seen you play alot and you kicked ass. For the last year I've been in Iraq and come home the 1st of the year and look forward to seeing you in concert again. Also congrads. on your new cd. You guys rock !!
